The channel partners of Apsis Technologies now have a reason to smile about. The distributor-turned principal is arranging a trip to Dubai for its channel fraternity. To promote its AamberNet brand in the marketplace, the company has introduced a scheme called ‘Rock On Destination Dubai’. All partners across India are eligible for this scheme.
“Any partner who achieves a target of Rs 12 lakh by selling AamberNet products will win a trip to Dubai. This is more of a motivational scheme for our partners to sell our AamberNet wares in the market,” said L Madhu, MD& Chairman, Apsis Technologies. The scheme is slated for October, November and December. Apsis is hosting this kind of motivational scheme for the first time.
“Most of the networking vendors offer such schemes every quarter, so we thought that it’s the right time for us to come out with this scheme. We zeroed in on Dubai because the Dubai Shopping Festival is on during the months of Jan and Feb, and partners can have real fun during this period. This is one of the ways of thanking our partners for joining forces with us to sell the AamberNet brand in the market,”said Surendra KG, VP, Apsis Technologies. The company has come out with CAT 6A products, which is being used for data centers. “Since we ourselves were a distributor once, we are aware of the market dynamics in terms of what products sell and what doesn’t,” he added.
AamberNet recently won the DGS&D approval, which means that the gates are now wide open for AamberNet products in Defence and Government organizations. “In the next 3 months, we are planning to target government sectors, since there is a plethora of requirements in this sector,” said Madhu.
In addition to catering to the local market, the company is also chasing business outside India. “We have offices in Singapore. We have our CAT 7 R&D happening over there. We have also bagged projects in Dubai Middle East, Singapore and Sri Lanka. We are driven by sheer performance,” said D Dinakaran, Country Manager, Apsis Technologies.
AamberNet is courageous enough to face the challenges that lie ahead. “In the face of US slowdown, the channels are also going through rough times. In such times, it’s wise to penetrate areas where the requirements are more and where we can get more entries,” said Madhu.
To add more visibility to its brand, Apsis has been participating in IT events, trade shows, road shows, etc. The company is shortly planning to launch active products, such as routers and KVM switches.
